시놉시스 

미영은 낯선 남자의 시선이 불편하다. 그를 피해 버스에서 하차하려고 하지만, 낯선 남자 역시 문 앞에 다가선다. 버스의 하차 문이 열리지만 남자는말없이 미영 곁에 서 있는다. 미영도 남자가 자신을 따라 내릴지도 모른다는 생각에 내리지 못한다. 문은 닫히고, 미영은 낯선 남자와 버스에 갇히게 된다.

A bus is en route. Miyoung looks around looking a bit anxious. Most seats are vacant but there is a man standing beside her. She peeks at the man and notices that the man is tilting his cellphone toward her as if he is photographing her. Miyoung feels even more uncomfortable and reaches for the stop button. She heads toward the back door and waits for the bus to stop. Just as the bus approaches the next station, the man walks toward the back door and stands beside Miyoung once again. The bus door opens but Miyoung hesitates to exit the bus. The man remains in the bus as well. With a loud noise, the bus door closes and Miyoung is still trapped in the bus with the man next to her.

연출의도

많은 여성들이 성범죄에 노출되어 살아가고 있다. 대다수의 여성들은 실제로 직접적인 피해 경험들이 있다. 공포는 그들을 침묵하게 만든다. 피해자는 또 다른 피해자를 돕는 조력자가 되지만, 큰 변화 없는 현실에 강제적 방관자가 되고 만다. 개인의 문제가 아닌 우리의 문제로 인식되길 희망한다.

Many women experience some sort of sexual violence on a day to day basis and most have been victims of sexual assault. In such situations, fear tends to silence these victims. The victim becomes a helper for another victim, but is forced to become a spectator when faced with the cruel, unchanging reality. It is my hope that sexual violence be viewed as a collective issue rather than an individual one.
